POSITIVE FEEDBACK
I recently got into a fitness cycling program and wanted a wireless headphones that would help in keeping my ears open.
So that I can be aware of vehicles and people around me.
Prior to getting these headphones, I wasn’t knowledgeable about “Open Ear” headphones.
These however seemed to fit the bill, so I tried them out.
My head size is on the larger side, but I had no issues fitting them on.
They were not too small to fit in at all.
It was great that I could wear them alongside my sunglasses, and cycling helmet.
They were all comfortably fitted together, without having to frequently make adjustments.
After a few trials on the bike, I found that I almost couldn’t do without using them every time.
Since they don’t pass sound through the ears, I was pleasantly surprised that they sounded so good.
Though, they are not audiophile nor pristine quality.
They are a suitable companion for working in the yard, doing household chores, or remotely working on the computer.
A full charge can readily last about five or six hours before I often remember to check the battery level.
I’ve also used the built-in microphone a few times to make and receive calls.
I have had no complaints so far, from callers at the other end of the line.
A big challenge lies with the headphone design.
As it won’t let you rest the back of your head against your pillow.
For me, that doesn’t disturb the way I use them, as I don’t need to lie down with the headphones on.
This may however be something to consider if you like to relax in bed while watching movies or videos from social media.
The volume isn’t as loud as I expected when compared to my regular earbuds and headphones.
However, in very quiet environments at maximum volume, you may lose awareness of your surroundings.
As the sound may be loud enough to prevent you from focusing on your surroundings.
I got them for my wife, who prefers listening to music, talk shows, and audiobooks.
The usual earbuds often keep out all the noise.
She is usually at home taking care of our kids or helping out with their homework.
She describes them as superb, as she can readily listen to her music, podcast, or audiobook and still hear her surroundings.
This is good because she sometimes listens to non-kid-friendly content.
With her ears still free to hear what is happening around her, just in case a child or pet needs her attention.
These are not the best for places or locations with very high vibrations.
Such as when riding on a ferry, a subway train or an airplane.
They work well for use at home or in the garden, in the car, for cycling, or for working outdoors.
What I like the most is that I can enjoy clear music and sound, and not have to shut myself off from things happening around me.
Be aware that at very loud volumes, you may find it very hard to make out what others are saying around you.
Or what they saying to you, may sound muffled up.
Worth every penny, and I’m so glad I didn’t buy a much more expensive headset.

CRITICAL FEEDBACK
I am not a fan of having earbuds in my ear, so I wondered if these would be better.
As I needed a pair of headphones that I can use for my daily cycling.
These do a good job at letting me hear the traffic, as I ride past on the highway.
The sound quality is fairly decent bearing in mind that they don’t enter my ears.
They were worth the tryout for the price.
On my partner’s head, they did fit in well.
They do not hang out loosely as is commonly seen with earbuds, while he is at work.
They sit well in front of his ears and do not make his ears sweat like earbuds often do.
He was so in love with them that he recommended I got mine too.
So I made up my mind and bought myself a pair.
What I liked
- The noise-canceling mic
- sound quality, as well as
- battery life
These were worth the money.
What I didn’t like
- Build quality
The wrapping material of which they were designed is not that great.
Would have preferred they had used a totally different fabric.
The wrapping fabric only lasted a month, before it started to melt away and crack.
Now it is rather late to return to Amazon and ask for a refund.
Getting a replacement would be much appreciated.
Save for the fabric, the headphones are worth the value.
