Bone Conduction Open-Ear Design

The Open-ear headphones use bone conduction technology, to deliver sounds directly to your inner ears through your cheekbone.

They will leave your ears open, thus keeping you aware of your surroundings as you listen to music.

You will be able to hear everything that is going on around you, from car horns to other road users.

Even keeping you safe from danger when you go out hiking on the hills, in the woods, or on the trail.

This makes them a suitable choice for outdoor sports and working out.

The headphones using a lightweight, flexible titanium neckband design which weigh about 0.9oz.

This helps to maximize comfort especially during periods of prolonged use at a time.

NAENKA RUNNER CHIC CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

Below we showcase balanced feedback from actual customers. They have written down their reviews from their own personal experiences from their personal use of the Naenka Runner Chic headset, from across the web.
naenka runner chic bone conduction heaphone black

POSITIVE FEEDBACK

Earbuds don’t fit in well in my ears, as they would always fall out. I use these when I go out, and they help me to be aware of my surroundings.

The bone-conducting technology leaves my ears open, while I am running on the road, so I can hear the oncoming traffic.

This makes them a suitable choice for me or other road runners.

I also use them on my long nightshifts. As they don’t cover my ears, allowing me to pay attention to other sounds.

I am not always listen to audio all night long, but the headphones battery is still on (12 hours on at times).

The other day I forgot to charge it and yet it was on all day, even till the next night it still had some charge.

At very loud volunteers the vibration can be tickling and uncomfortable.

If you want to distract yourself from sleeping, this can be a plus for that.

The Runner Chic’s Bluetooth works fine with both my Android Smartphone and Apple iPhone.

While it is lighter in weight, wouldn’t mind it with an IP67 rating.

But, for the price, they are worth every penny, when compared to the more expensive alternatives.

They are a good fit for my daughter. As she wears hearing aids and they don’t get in the way.

They are an improvement over the popular AfterShokz Trekz Titanium.

What I like:

Stable sounds over wireless connection

I don’t experience sound cut outs, when turning my head or bending over to lace my shoes, leaning forward on my bike.

This were issues I regularly faced with the Trekz Titanium, regardless of how I positioned my phone during cycling or running.

This is due to the Bluetooth 5.0 they have, compared to the Bluetooth 4.2 of the Trekz Titanium.

Secure fitting and lighter weight

They fit a bit much better, and do weigh a little less than the Titaniums.

What I don’t like:

Less bass sounds

They have lesser bass than the Titaniums offered. But it is definitely not the worst out there.

So like I used the Titaniums with the poor quality audio, I have also gotten used these.

So long as I am able to hear all that is going on around me, it is not a deal breaker.

If you’re on the fence, you can buy them and give them a trial. They make a very good birthday present!

CRITICAL FEEDBACK

The sound is quite difficult to explain with these on. They feel a bit weird to use at first, since the sound is not being played through your ears.

The sound quality feels like it is somewhere between cheap and quality headphones, meaning it is just decent.

Though not on par with what you ca expect from a regular pair of headphones.

Listening to heavy metal filled music doesn’t sound quite as good.

It sure does what it was made to do well though.

They work well for exercising, as you listening to music, while still hearing ambient sounds.

They also do fit well to the head, and would not fall off during runs.

They make hearing sounds around you much easier, thus making hiking, running, cycling, or camping safer.

I do have issues with the design.

They hang freely down the back of my head, so they do get in the way of my full hair, making my hair look funny.

The volume isn’t very loud enough, just okay.

Great for a quiet room, but not noisy places.

Sometimes can be hard to hear calls while driving through noisy areas.

The battery sometimes last under 6 hours for a full charge.

Well considering the price, I guess I may be expecting too much.

naenka runner chic bone conduction heaphone black

To be clear, I have 3 pairs of bone conduction headphones.

They certainly do not have the best sound of the trio.

But they offer a much better fitting, comfort, and quality feel.

I’m a steel mill worker, I prefer to use earplugs to noise-canceling headphones.

Cos, I believe noise cancellation headphones don’t stand up well to a good pair of earplugs.

So I use the Runner Chic headphones with my earplugs when I need to, regardless of the sound quality.

I’ve chosen to do that for 3 reasons:

  1. My earplugs are in great working condition. And I’m still being completely safe.
  2. I don’t need to frequently adjust them on my head, even while I’m wearing my hardhat and safety glasses.
  3. I can still hear someone speaking to me. Though it can be sometimes hard to make out what they are saying, while on the factory floor.

Overall, they are worth trying out.
