You may also notice the inaccuracy in the battery level indicator on your PC or a mobile phone; it shows only 10% and 100% battery levels.

I found these Moing TouchBone BC-8 headphones life changing! I have hyperacusis and i am also a core audiofile.
I have extensively researched bone conductive tech, before I choose these and I am happy I did.
It is not expensive but it also deliveres on quality, comfort and the price is just right.

Critical Feedback
This was my first “bone conduction” headset, I have little experience of what to compare it with.
That being said, I find that the description of “bone conductive” to be a stretch given my experiences with actual conductive audio devices for hearing tests.
From my one personal experience using actual conductive audio devices, during hearing assesment testing. I think the term “bone conductive” for these is a stretch.
I use hearing aids and have undergone bone-conductive testing with bone-conduction equipments, made to carry vibratory signals across the mastoid bone located behind the ear.
True bone conduction “bypasses” the air-conduction track via the middle ear, transmitting signals right across to the inner ear nerves.
I was caught off gaurd when I heared a very audible “Power On” when I turned them on at my first time of use, as i expected them to be fully bone conductive.
While it may not be too unreasonable to be able to hear some sound from the speaker driver, but didn’t certainly did not expect it to be that loud.
I thought the “Power On” was an exception. So I decided to play some music before wearing them on, to my suprise I noticed I could hear them from an arm’s length away.
I believe they are using a little more air conduction, than I hope to expect from a bone-conduction headset.

How To Operate The Moing TouchBone BC-8 Headphone
We tell you how to use the headset. Below is a simplified image of the headset, showing the various named parts of the headphone. We’ll explain the various parts and how to use them as we go along.
1. Charging
It is best to always charge the headphone before you use them after you unbox them.
You should use a micro-USB charging cable, the headphone comes along with one micro-USB cable.
Insert the charging cable into the charging port as shown in the image above and wait for a few seconds.
The solid red light of the led indicator will turn solid blue when the headphone is fully recharged.
Low Battery Notice
When the battery of your Moing TouchBone BC-8 headphone is low, it gets into the low battery notice mode.
The LED light shows red and you should hear a voice prompt “Low Battery Please Charge,” for every minute.
After some minutes, the headphone will automatically switch off.
2. Controls
The controls of the Moing TouchBone BC-8 can be found on the righthand side of the headset. You get to hear sounds and or voice prompts when you make use of the controls on the headset.

With the multifunctional button on your right, you can execute the following actions:

Wake Up Phone Voice Assistant
You can activate your preferred voice assistant on your smartphone or device, by long-pressing the multifunctional button for one second when it is on Standby mode.
How To Wear The Headset
You should pass the headphone across the back of your neck and place the flat edge of the conducting speaker on top of your cheekbones on both sides of your face. The speaker will rest on your cheekbones and not your ear, as you can see in the image below.
How Do You Pair Moing TouchBone BC-8 Headphones?
You will first need to activate pairing mode, then you can now pair with any smart device.
Activate Pairing Mode
If you want to connect a cellphone or smart device with the headphone for the very first time.
- You will need to long-press the multifunctional button for four (4) seconds to activate pairing mode.
- Then you will see the LED indicator blinking blue and red repeatedly and an accompanying voice prompt “pairing.”
To connect with devices in pairing mode
- Activate the Bluetooth setting of your device(s) and use your Bluetooth search and select [Moing].
- When you are successfully connected the Blue led blinking light will cease.
The moing headphone will automatically connect, with your device or smartphone subsequently after the first pairing.
Please note that:

The Bluetooth range of support is thirty-three (33) feet or ten (10) meters, any longer it may disconnect.

The headphone will reconnect if returned to the connection pairing range within five (5) minutes.

Bluetooth Phone Calls
You can make and receive phone calls through the headset. And here below is how to:
Accept Incoming Calls
When you receive a phone call, the headphone will pause the audio you listen to and prioritize the phone call.
Tap once on the multifunction button to pick up the phone call.
When you are done listening/chatting on the phone call, you will need to tap once on the multifunction button to end the phone call.
Reject Incoming Calls
You can reject phone calls through the headset by long-pressing the multifunctional button for 2 seconds, to hang up on the call.
Redial the Phone Number
You can make phone calls through the headset by double-tapping the multifunctional button.
However, it will redial the last dialed number on your phone’s call records.
